For a person who may be in county detention, first use the official HCSO inmate search. Booking records and public-record requests
HCSO Public Records Division handles records inquiries at 228-896-0626, fax 228-896-0625, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. OIC Records is listed at 228-896-0624. The sheriff’s mailing address is P.O. Box 1480, Gulfport, MS 39502. For a county request, identify the person, a narrow date range, the arresting agency, and the existing docket or photo sought. HCSO’s form directs records requests to the Adult Detention Center address above, and the county policy lists publicrecordsrequest@co.harrison.ms.us for emailed requests. The policy explains that the county can provide existing records but need not create a new record.
Warrants and later court action
For a warrant question, HCSO Warrants/Extradition is listed at 228-896-0610. The Harrison County court-docket hub is the starting point for a later case, but a scheduled docket is not a final result. Contact the relevant court clerk for a certified disposition or a question about the proper court. Do not rely on an unofficial listing to decide whether a warrant remains active.
State, federal, and city records
